Description

The SaberVet Feline panleukopenia Virus Antibody Rapid Test offered by Antigenne is a lateral flow immunoassay intended for the qualitative detection of specific antibody from feline panleucopenia virus (FIPV) in whole blood, serum or plasma. The test is useful for determination of FPV immune and infection. Description Feline distemper, also known as feline panleukopenia and feline infectious enteritis, is a highly contagious and fatal disease caused by feline microvirus. 1.Why test for feline distemper virus antibody? Early detection and fpv test kit: Feline distemper virus is a highly lethal virus in felines. Antibody rapid diagnostic tests can help in early detection of infection and prompt treatment to reduce mortality. Vaccination evaluation: Antibody panleukopenia test kit(fpv ag test)can be used to evaluate the immune response of cats after vaccination and to determine whether the vaccine has produced sufficient immune protection. This is essential to ensure the long-term health of the cat. Population immunization management: In multi-cat environments such as catteries and animal hospitals, regular vet test of antibody levels can help to grasp the immunization status of the population, prevent large-scale outbreaks and protect the health of the population. Effectiveness of preventive measures: Testing antibody levels can verify the effectiveness of various preventive measures (e.g. disinfection, isolation, etc.) and help to adjust and optimize prevention strategies. 2.Preventive and control measures for feline distemper virus Vaccination: Regular vaccination against feline distemper virus is the most effective preventive measure.
