Product DescriptionThe ITGen Feline Total IgE Rapid Test is a chromatographic lateral-flow immunoassay for qualitative detection of total IgE in feline serum or plasma. Designed for quick preliminary allergy screening in veterinary settings, it assists clinicians in identifying cats with suspected allergic conditions (e.g., pruritus, allergic rhinitis, or respiratory signs). The test is intended for use by trained veterinary personnel as part of a comprehensive diagnostic workflow.

How to use- Step 1: Collect blood from the cat by venipuncture and prepare serum or plasma according to clinic protocol. Use trained personnel for sample collection.
- Step 2: Using the provided pipette, transfer the required volume of serum/plasma into the buffer tube and mix to extract the sample.
- Step 3: Place the test cassette on a clean, level surface. Hold the dropper vertically and add 3 drops (~120 µL) of the extracted sample into the specimen well (S). Start the timer.
- Step 4: Read the result at 5–10 minutes. Do not interpret results after 15 minutes.
- Note: Use non-hemolyzed serum/plasma. For accurate diagnosis, correlate results with clinical signs and confirm with additional laboratory tests if needed.
Interpretation of Results- Positive: Both C (control) line and T (test) line appear (any intensity).
- Negative: Only a clear C line appears.
- Invalid: No colored line in C region — test must be repeated.
