The TGEN Feline Gastrointestinal Disease (FGD)-3 Antigen Rapid Test Kit is a lateral-flow chromatographic immunoassay that simultaneously detects antigens of three common feline gastrointestinal pathogens: feline panleukopenia virus (FPV), feline coronavirus (FCoV), and Giardia. High-affinity monoclonal antibodies coated on the test strip bind target antigens to produce visible colored lines for visual interpretation.

Intended Use / Description
This kit is intended for rapid clinical screening and diagnosis of gastrointestinal symptoms in cats, such as diarrhea, vomiting, anorexia, dehydration, and fever. Applications include disease screening, population health monitoring, pre-vaccination testing, and treatment efficacy evaluation. Suitable settings: veterinary clinics, animal shelters, multi-cat households, and breeding facilities. The multiplex format streamlines workflows by identifying multiple pathogens in one assay.

How to use?

• Verify kit contents and perform the test at room temperature (15–30℃).
• Unseal the extraction tube containing buffer and place on a stable surface.
• Collect fresh feces or a rectal swab sample using the provided swab and insert into the buffer.
• Rotate the swab >10 times in the buffer, then cap the tube.
• Remove the test device from the foil pouch and place it flat on a clean surface.
• Add three drops (≈90 μL) of the prepared specimen vertically into the specimen well(s).

Interpretation of Results

• Positive (+): Both control (C) line and test (T) line appear (T line may be strong or faint).
• Negative (−): Only a clear control (C) line appears.
• Invalid: No colored line appears in the control (C) region, regardless of T line.
