The ITGen Feline Hematological Disease (FHD)-2 Antigen Rapid Test Kit provides simultaneous, point-of-care screening for Feline Leukemia Virus antigen (FeLV Ag) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus antibody (FIV Ab). Designed for veterinary clinics and owner screening, the cassette-format lateral flow assay uses a small volume of feline whole blood, serum or plasma and delivers results in 5–10 minutes to support rapid clinical decisions.

Principle & intended use
Immunochromatographic (lateral flow) assay enabling simultaneous detection of FeLV Ag and FIV Ab. Intended for screening of cats presenting clinical signs or for routine surveillance; not a substitute for confirmatory laboratory testing when required.

How to use
Bring kit to room temperature (15–30°C). Remove the cassette from the foil pouch and place on a clean, flat surface. Using the capillary dropper, add one drop (~10 μL) of specimen into the specimen well (S), then add two drops (~60 μL) of buffer into the same well. Read results at 5–10 minutes; discard or quarantine results read after 15 minutes as invalid.

Interpretation of results

• Positive: both C (control) line and corresponding T (test) line appear (T line may be faint)
• Negative: only a clear C line appears
• Invalid: no C line appears regardless of T line — repeat test with new device
