Intended Use
Designed for use in veterinary clinics, animal hospitals and research laboratories as a rapid screening and preliminary diagnostic tool for cats suspected of feline infectious peritonitis (e.g., ascites, persistent fever, depression or neurological signs).

Sample Collection & Procedure
Feces sample: Unseal the buffer-containing extraction tube and place in the workstation. Use the swab to collect fresh feline feces or fecal material from the rectum. Insert the swab into the buffer and rotate >10 times. Close the buffer tube. Remove the test device from the foil pouch and place on a clean, flat surface. Add three drops (≈90 μL) of the mixed specimen vertically into the specimen well (S).

Ascites sample: Unseal the extraction tube with buffer. Use the dropper to add one drop (≈30 μL) of ascites into the buffer. Close and mix until specimen and buffer are fully combined. Remove the test device from the foil pouch and add three drops (≈90 μL) of the mixed specimen into the specimen well (S).

Interpretation of Results
  • Positive (+): both C and T lines appear (T line may be faint or strong).
  • Negative (-): only a clear C line appears.
  • Invalid: no colored line in the C region (test should be repeated).

Storage & Shelf Life
Store kits at 4–30°C. Do not freeze. Use before the expiration date printed on the package.

Certifications & Quality
Manufactured in facilities compliant with CE, ISO 13485 and GMP standards. Quality control includes batch consistency checks and traceability documentation.
