Description

Product Overview
The ITGen Feline Panleukopenia Virus Antigen Rapid Test is a lateral-flow chromatographic immunoassay designed for rapid on-site detection of feline panleukopenia virus antigen in feces or rectal swab samples. The test uses specific monoclonal antibodies and colloidal gold to produce a visible result line, allowing quick screening in clinical and field settings.

Key Features
  • Rapid results in 5–10 minutes
  • High sensitivity and specificity (98% / 97.5%)
  • No laboratory equipment required — cassette format
  • Individually sealed tests for single-use convenience

Intended Use / Use Cases
Primarily intended for use in veterinary clinics, animal hospitals, shelters and rescue stations. Suitable for rapid screening of cats presenting with fever, vomiting, diarrhea or sudden leukopenia, and for triage when PCR or laboratory testing is impractical.

How to use
1. Confirm kit contents and perform testing at room temperature (15–30°C).
2. Unseal the buffer tube and place it upright on a clean surface.
3. Collect fecal material or rectal swab sample; insert the swab into the buffer tube, rotate and squeeze to release the specimen, then remove and discard the swab.
4. Close and mix the buffer tube by gentle inversion or swirling to homogenize the sample.
5. Remove the test device from the foil pouch and place it on a flat surface. Add three drops (approx. 90 μL) of the mixed sample vertically into the specimen well (S).
6. Read the result after 5–10 minutes; do not interpret results after the specified reading time.

Interpretation of Results
Positive (+): Both control (C) line and test (T) line visible (T line may be faint).
Negative (−): Only the clear control (C) line visible.
Invalid: No colored line appears at C region — test is invalid regardless of T line.
