The Maxillofacial Kit (code 12809) by Nacional Ossos was developed to meet the needs of instructors, students, and professionals in Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology, Surgical Orthodontics, and Hospital Dentistry. Ideal for practical classes, hands-on sessions, workshops, residencies, and in-person or distance learning training, this kit allows students to practice cuts, osteotomies, realignments, and rigid fixation with a high degree of realism.

With mechanical properties similar to those of human bone (type 2), the models feature a full set of teeth, a maxillary sinus with a flexible membrane, a temporomandibular joint (TMJ), and detailed zygomatic, auricular, and occipital regions. The preserved interdental spaces (in a “honeycomb” pattern) enhance realism and facilitate the performance of surgical approaches and fixations, bringing the student closer to the real clinical setting.

The articulated mount allows for essential movements such as mouth opening, tilting, and closing, ensuring access and stability so the student can work with both hands, just as with a real patient. The result: safe, repetitive, controlled training that adheres to bioethical principles.
