Dental simulator for training in maxillary sinus lift procedures and implant placement.
The anatomical cross-sectional model of the skull by Nacional Ossos was developed to meet the needs of dental faculty, students, and professionals working in implant dentistry and oral surgery. Ideal for hands-on training, in-person courses, distance learning, and workshops, this simulator allows for realistic practice of maxillary sinus elevation and implant planning/placement in edentulous areas.
Manufactured with mechanical properties similar to human bone (type 2), it features the absence of teeth 14, 15, and 16, as well as a maxillary sinus with a septum and flexible membrane, enhancing the realism of the surgical steps.
The support block allows for securing the model in a vise, with tilting and locking mechanisms, so that students can work with both hands, just as they would with a real patient. It can be cut and drilled using real instruments, enabling repetitive, safe training in line with best practices.
