Dental simulator for training in full-mouth rehabilitation with implants, zygomatic implants, and maxillary sinus elevation
The anatomical model of an edentulous maxilla with a cross-section of the skull, manufactured by Nacional Ossos, was developed to meet the needs of dental faculty, students, and professionals working in implant dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery. Ideal for practical classes, hands-on sessions, workshops, and distance learning, this simulator provides comprehensive training with a high degree of anatomical and tactile realism.
Manufactured with mechanical properties similar to human bone (type 2 density), the maxilla can be drilled and cut using real surgical instruments and different implant systems.
The model includes the right and left maxillary sinuses with a 1 mm base, a very thin (almost fenestrated) plate, and a flexible membrane, as well as anatomical reference points such as the TMJ, zygomatic, auricular, and occipital regions, perfect for training and demonstrating real-world access, angles, and limitations of the surgical field.
It can be mounted on the Manikin Stand (code 4020), allowing it to be opened, closed, and tilted so that the student can work with both hands, just as with a real patient.
