Dental simulator for training in oral surgery, mini-implants, and soft tissue management
The Maxilla with All Teeth and Gums anatomical model by Nacional Ossos was developed to meet the needs of instructors, students, and professionals working in implant dentistry, oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics. Ideal for in-person practical classes, distance learning, and hands-on training, this simulator allows for highly realistic practice of incision, detachment, and suturing.
Manufactured from a material with mechanical properties similar to human bone (type 2), the maxilla features all teeth and is covered with a material that simulates soft tissue (gums), enabling comprehensive training in surgical techniques using real instruments. The model includes the maxillary sinus with a flexible membrane, the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), zygomatic, auricular, and occipital bones, expanding anatomical instruction and the range of surgical approaches.
It can be cut and drilled, making it ideal for safe repetition and technical progression, in accordance with bioethical principles. If necessary, it can be mounted on the stand (4020), which allows for mouth opening, tilting, and closing, making two-handed training much more similar to a real clinical scenario.
