Dental simulator for training in oral surgery, implant dentistry, and bone regeneration
The anatomical maxilla model with gums by Nacional Ossos was developed to meet the needs of dental faculty, students, and professionals working in implant dentistry, oral surgery, periodontics, and oral rehabilitation.
Ideal for in-person instruction, distance learning, hands-on courses, workshops, and clinical demonstrations, this simulator enables advanced practice of surgical and regenerative procedures with a high degree of realism.
Manufactured with mechanical properties similar to human bone (type 2), the maxilla features teeth 11, 12, 14, 18, 24, 26, and 27, as well as a recent extraction site with a defect in the buccal bone plate in the region of tooth 13. It exhibits bone resorption in the areas of teeth 21, 22, 23, and 25, making the model highly suitable for training in bone grafting and complex rehabilitation.
The model features a maxillary sinus with a flexible membrane, an exposed TMJ, zygomatic, auricular, and occipital bones, as well as simulated soft tissue, allowing for incision, dissection, relaxation, and suturing with real surgical instruments.
It fits into support (cod. 4020), which allows for mouth opening, tilting, and closing, ensuring ergonomic positioning and bimanual training just like with a real patient.
