Dental simulator for training in implant dentistry and oral surgery involving soft tissue.
The partially dentate anatomical mandible model with gingiva by Nacional Ossos was developed to meet the needs of dental faculty, students, and professionals working in implant dentistry, oral surgery, and prosthetic rehabilitation. Ideal for practical classes, workshops, hands-on sessions, and in-person or distance learning training, this simulator allows for the practice of surgical and restorative procedures with a high degree of realism.
With mechanical properties similar to those of human bone, the model can be drilled and cut, allowing for the use of real instruments. The key feature here is the simulated gingiva (soft tissue). The model includes a mandibular nerve, facilitating the safe teaching of surgical planning and implant placement.
The mandible is missing teeth 32, 33, 35, 36, 37, 43, 45, and 46, and features a recent extraction with a defect in the buccal bone plate in the regions of teeth 32 and 43, facilitating training in critical areas and more challenging clinical situations. And yes: it is compatible with all maxillary models in the line.
