Dental simulator for surgical and orthodontic training.
The anatomical jaw model with third molar and gingiva by Nacional Ossos was developed to meet the needs of dental faculty, students, and professionals working in oral surgery, orthodontics, implant dentistry, and periodontics.
Ideal for in-person practical classes, distance learning, workshops, and hands-on sessions, this simulator allows for the practice of surgical and soft-tissue procedures with a high degree of realism.
With a bone structure that offers resistance similar to human bone and a coating that simulates gingival tissue, the model allows for incision, detachment, relaxation, and suturing, as well as the use of real surgical instruments. It features an encapsulated, radiopaque impacted third molar, allowing for X-rays and CT scans.
The model also features recent extractions with a bone defect and granulation tissue inside the alveolus, enabling comprehensive training in bone grafting and membrane-guided regeneration. It articulates at the premolar level with the maxilla (code 4015 G), allowing for the simulation of oral rehabilitation with vertical height control.
