Description

Overview
The LAUDA Hydro shaking water baths provide precise temperature control and controlled sample agitation for laboratory applications. Models H 20 S and H 20 SW perform linear, oscillating shaking; model H 20 SOW provides an orbital (circular) motion. Built-in speed controller enables load-independent, infinitely variable shaking with soft start. H 20 SW and H 20 SOW include a cooling coil as standard. Connecting to mains water or an external circulation chiller extends the lower temperature limit to approx. 10 °C. Rear drain tap facilitates emptying.

Benefits and added value
  • Digital temperature setting and display via LED
  • Load-independent, continuously variable shaking with soft start
  • Electronic monitoring of controller functions and two independent under- and overtemperature protection devices
  • Bath body, cover frame with condensation channel, shaking basket and heater in stainless steel

Working range
Standard minimum working temperature: 25 °C; maximum up to 99.9 °C depending on model. With connection to water supply or an external chiller the lower limit can be extended to about 10 °C. Typical temperature stability: 0.1 ± K.

Key performance values
  • Min. working temperature (standard): 25 °C
  • Min. working temperature (with external cooling): ~10 °C
  • Max. working temperature: 99.9 °C
  • Temperature stability: 0.1 ± K
  • Heater power (example): 1.5 kW

Product variants (summary)
Hydro H 20 S — linear oscillating; 25 °C to 99.9 °C; heater max. 1.5 kW; bath volume examples 9.0 / 24.4 L
Hydro H 20 SW — linear oscillating with cooling coil; 25 °C to 99.9 °C; heater max. 1.5 kW; bath volume examples 9.0 / 24.4 L
Hydro H 20 SOW — orbital (circular) shaking with cooling coil; 25 °C to 80 °C; heater max. 1.5 kW; bath volume examples 8.5 / 23.1 L

Device dimensions (examples)
Hydro H 20 SOW: 635 x 505 x 400 mm
Hydro H 20 SW: 715 x 520 x 330 mm

Additional features
  • Cooling coil as standard on H 20 SW and H 20 SOW
  • Rear drain tap for easy emptying
  • Stainless-steel wet area components for chemical resistance and cleanability
  • Electronic function monitoring and two independent temperature safety devices
