Product Description: The Flangeless Esser PET Phantom (model PET/FL/P) is a cylindrical performance phantom for PET system evaluation. Its flange-free design simplifies positioning within the scanner’s field of view and ensures reproducible measurements for acceptance testing, routine QA and research.

The phantom includes:

• Cold rods (Ø 4.8 to 12.7 mm) for spatial resolution evaluation
• Solid spheres (Ø 9.5 to 31.8 mm) for assessing contrast, visible volume and SUV accuracy

Performance and purpose: Supports testing of tumor detectability, reconstruction sensitivity, attenuation/scatter correction and SUV quantification. Recommended by the American College of Radiology (ACR) as a benchmark for PET QA and quantitative imaging protocol validation.
