Description

Description
The sliding tungsten syringe shield protects the operator during handling of radiopharmaceuticals in nuclear medicine. Its two‑part magnetic sliding design enables rapid opening and closing while allowing 360° rotation of the syringe inside the shielding. A high‑density leaded‑glass viewing window (5.2 g/cm³) permits clear reading of syringe graduations without direct manipulation, supporting both safety and ergonomics. Manufactured from 2.5 mm thick tungsten, the shield provides effective radiation attenuation while remaining compact and lightweight. Compatible with standard Luer‑Lock syringes (1 ml, 3 ml and 5 ml), including syringes fitted with three‑way valves or integrated safety systems.
