Description

Description The quality assurance phantom for dental Cone‑Beam CT is designed to evaluate the imaging performance of 3D dental imaging systems in accordance with SEDENTEXCT recommendations applicable to dental Cone‑Beam CTs. It enables the recommended tests for acceptance testing and routine quality control, including analysis of noise, uniformity, spatial resolution, low‑contrast resolution, slice geometry (thickness) and geometric distortion. Its modular design, integrating multiple test objects inside a PMMA cylinder, allows complete, reliable and reproducible assessment of image performance, including for small field‑of‑view dental systems.
