OverviewThe CTDI Head and Body Phantom in PMMA is a cylindrical set designed for measuring the CT dose index (CTDI) and dose-length product (DLP) on computed tomography systems. Compliant with IEC 61223-3-5 and IEC 61223-2-6, it enables dosimetric performance evaluation and constancy checks of clinical CT protocols.
Contents of the set- One head module, 160 mm diameter
- One body module, 320 mm diameter
- Thickness of each module: 150 mm
Cavity details and accessoriesEach module includes ports for CTDI-100 ionization chambers: one central port and peripheral ports. Acrylic plugs are supplied to seal unused cavities and engraved alignment axes facilitate centering on the examination table. Peripheral ports are arranged at 90° and positioned 10 mm from the outer edge.
Intended uses- CT dose measurement (CTDI)
- Measurement of dose-length product (DLP)
- Validation of protocols and constancy control in CT
- Studies of dose reproducibility and dosimetric assessment
Available models- VD1003110 - CTDI Head and Body Dose Measurement Phantom
