DescriptionThe PMMA plate set for mammography is designed for testing the automatic exposure control (AEC) system of mammography units. It is used to verify exposure repeatability, AEC response and signal stability according to mammography quality control procedures.
Material and useThe plates are manufactured from transparent PMMA with high dimensional accuracy (thickness tolerance down to ±0.05 mm for high-precision versions). They can be stacked in different combinations to simulate attenuation equivalent to various breast tissue thicknesses. A transport case is available as an option.
