OverviewThese breast simulation plates are designed for precise evaluation of automatic exposure control (AEC) performance in mammography systems, in accordance with American College of Radiology (ACR) recommendations and MQSA. Manufactured with tight thickness tolerances, they reproduce the X‑ray attenuation behavior of real breast tissue across the energy range used in mammography, unlike general acrylic test plates.
Composition- Each plate is composed of two tissue-equivalent materials representing adipose and glandular tissues, blended in specific mass proportions to simulate breast composition.
