DescriptionThe Micro Hollow Sphere Phantom (ECT/HS/MMP) is a high-precision cylindrical phantom designed for evaluation of small-field PET/SPECT systems (FOV > 45 mm) and ultra-high-resolution ECT cameras (≤ 3 mm FWHM). It contains refillable hollow microspheres to simulate small hot or cold lesions and to study spatial resolution effects, reconstruction performance and detectability of very small objects. The lid includes five mounting positions (one central + four peripheral) to provide a reproducible configuration for quantitative measurements. Manufactured in transparent PMMA, the phantom ensures geometric stability and clear visibility of the internal arrangement.
Applications- Evaluation of small-animal and small-field imaging systems (FOV > 45 mm)
- Testing ultra-high-resolution ECT systems (≤ 3 mm FWHM)
- Simulation of micro hot/cold lesions
- Measurement of spatial resolution and object-size effects
