Description
Designed to protect the user from radiation during handling of syringes containing beta-emitting isotopes. The 22.3 mm-thick leaded glass provides high shielding while allowing 360° visibility of the contents. Tungsten is integrated into the lid and base to reduce overall weight. The lid, held by magnets, opens easily with a slight rotation. The acrylic insert protects the user against gamma radiation when using vials and syringes.
