Precautions when removing the guide wire

d) Release the guide wire from the tail clip and slide the guide wire slowly, pushing the distal end of the guide wire through the holder tube (B). (Figure 2)

f) Gently grasp the guide wire emerging from the distal end of the holder tube (or the distal end protection tube) as close to the holder tube as possible and withdraw slowly and carefully.

Precautions for stent placement
