Description

Product Overview
Labotemp Controlled Atmosphere Furnace FMU-17 is a mid-sized laboratory box furnace rated to 1200 °C. It combines three-sided resistance heating with PID temperature control to provide stable ramps and temperature accuracy of ±1 °C. The vacuum-sealed chamber with dedicated inert gas ports supports nitrogen, argon, oxygen and other non-reactive gases for controlled-atmosphere processes. Multi-layer ceramic fiber insulation and a steel shell reduce heat loss for frequent laboratory cycles.

Applications
  • Heat treatment of metals and ceramics
  • Sintering and calcination
  • Annealing and stress-relief
  • Ashing and thermal analysis of samples
  • Controlled-atmosphere material testing
  • High-temperature research and R&D process development

Why choose Labotemp Controlled Atmosphere Furnace FMU-17?
  • Controlled-atmosphere capability: vacuum-sealed chamber with inert gas ports for reliable purging and atmosphere management
  • Energy-efficient construction: multi-layer ceramic fiber lining and steel shell to limit thermal losses
  • Advanced process control: PID regulation with ±1 °C accuracy and programmable multi-segment profiles

Features
  • Over-temperature warning and system fault alerts
  • Three-sided heating for uniform chamber temperature distribution
  • Programmable PID temperature control with automatic heating and cooling segments
  • High-efficiency ceramic fiber insulation
  • Compatibility with various controlled gases
  • Adjustable heating rate (0–20 °C/min; recommend ≤10 °C/min for best results)
  • Sealed door design for reliable thermal performance

Standard Accessories
  • 1 pair crucible tongs
  • 1 pair heat-resistant gloves
