Description

Product Overview
Labotemp Muffle Furnace FMU-22 is a high-temperature laboratory muffle furnace engineered for demanding sintering, ceramic research, metal material testing, and advanced composite processing applications requiring stable thermal performance up to 1700°C. Built around premium 1800-grade MoSi2 heating rods with excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance, this furnace delivers consistent and clean heat treatment in a 12-litre chamber (300 × 200 × 200 mm). The high-purity ultra-clean alumina polycrystalline fiber insulation, vacuum-formed for exceptional chemical stability, effectively prevents sample contamination and ensures sintering purity across critical research workflows.

Design & Safety
The dual-carbon shell air-cooled structure with built-in forced convection keeps the furnace surface within ambient +45°C, ensuring operator safety during continuous high-temperature operation. A 50-segment programmable digital PID intelligent control system paired with precision B-type thermocouples delivers ±1°C temperature accuracy and repeatable thermal profiles for complex research protocols. With 6 kW single-phase power supply and optional gas inlet/outlet, exhaust port, touchscreen, and RS485 communication interface, the FMU-22 supports both standard and atmosphere-controlled sintering environments.

Key Features
  • Extreme temperature capability: MoSi2 heating rods enable stable continuous operation up to 1600°C with 1700°C peak performance.
  • Precise programmable control: 50-segment PID controller with B-type thermocouples delivers ±1°C accuracy for repeatable results.
  • Safe surface design: Air-cooled dual-carbon shell structure maintains cool exterior for secure daily laboratory operation.
  • Robust powder-coated steel exterior ensures excellent corrosion resistance and long-term structural durability.
  • Front-loading chamber design enables convenient sample placement and retrieval while minimizing heat exposure.
