Labotemp Muffle Furnace FMU-23 is a compact high-temperature laboratory muffle furnace engineered for precision sintering, ceramic research, metal material testing and advanced composite processing requiring stable thermal performance up to 1700 °C. The unit uses 1800-grade MoSi₂ heating rods with high oxidation resistance and provides consistent, low-contamination heat treatment in an 8 L chamber (200 × 200 × 200 mm). High-purity, ultra-clean alumina polycrystalline fiber insulation is vacuum-formed to minimize chemical interaction and ensure sample purity in critical workflows.

Design & Safety
The dual-carbon shell with built-in forced-air convection keeps the external surface within ambient +45 °C, improving operator safety during prolonged high-temperature cycles. Forced-air cooling and a ventilated cabinet reduce cabinet temperatures during extended runs. Heavy-duty steel construction ensures structural rigidity for laboratory and industrial use.

Control & Performance
A 50-segment programmable digital PID controller combined with precision B-type thermocouples delivers ±1 °C temperature accuracy and repeatable thermal profiles for complex research protocols. Standard electrical configuration is single-phase 220 V 50/60 Hz with rated power 5 kW. Optional configurations include gas inlet/outlet and exhaust port for atmosphere control, touchscreen controller and RS485 interface for integration and automation.
