Labotemp Muffle Furnace FMU-20 is a bench-top box furnace engineered for laboratories requiring reliable high-temperature processing up to 1200°C. Designed as a front-loading laboratory furnace with a 40-liter chamber (300 × 300 × 450 mm), it features heating elements embedded on three sides for fast, uniform heat distribution and minimal temperature gradient, suitable for sintering, calcination, ashing, ceramic firing, glass seal firing, wax burnout, and gravimetric analysis workflows.

Construction & Thermal Control
Built with high-grade 1500 alumina ceramic fiber board insulation and a steel exterior with an air-cooling fan, the FMU-20 balances thermal efficiency with a safe-to-touch outer surface. It includes a programmable digital PID temperature controller with 32 segments and ±1°C accuracy for precise, repeatable thermal profiles. Additional protections include overheat protection, power-failure auto-resume, self-tuning PID control with minimal overshoot, and broken thermocouple protection.
