Description

Overview
The FMU-24 benchtop muffle furnace is an electric laboratory furnace designed for reliable high-temperature processing in research, testing and light industrial environments. With a 14 L chamber and maximum temperature of 1200°C (short-term), it supports ashing, calcination, sintering, ignition testing, ceramic and glass firing, heat treatment and material analysis. Embedded HRE alloy heating elements and multi-sided heating provide even chamber temperature while high-alumina 1500# ceramic fibre insulation reduces heat loss and improves efficiency.

Control and Safety
Equipped with a Yudian 50-segment programmable PID controller and automatic tuning for stable, repeatable thermal profiles. Temperature is monitored by a Type-N thermocouple located at the chamber back wall. Built-in protections include over-temperature, thermocouple failure detection, burnout protection and power-failure safeguards for safe operation.
