Product description
The PC 3012 NT VARIO select pumping unit precisely controls vacuum levels to ensure reproducible process conditions. Combining high pumping speed with a deep ultimate vacuum, it is designed for demanding solvent evaporation, vacuum drying and distillation tasks in miniplants, kilo labs and scale-up facilities. The integrated VACUU·SELECT controller offers an application-based graphical interface with predefined processes, manual set-point control and drag-and-drop application editing. During solvent evaporation the controller continuously detects boiling points and automatically adapts the vacuum profile. The VARIO control adjusts motor speed as needed to maintain the set vacuum, reducing bumping and foaming, lowering noise and extending maintenance intervals. The glass inlet separator with protective coating prevents particles and droplets from entering the pump. An exhaust vapor (emission) condenser enables near-complete solvent recovery when used with chilled water or a recirculating chiller.
