Product description
The PC 3012 NT VARIO select pumping unit precisely controls the vacuum level to enable advanced process control. With high pumping speed and deep ultimate vacuum, it is suitable for demanding applications such as floor‑standing rotary evaporators, vacuum drying ovens, distillation columns, miniplants, kilo labs and scale‑up facilities. The integrated VACUU·SELECT controller provides an application‑based, intuitive interface with manual set‑point, fully automated distillation sequences and custom applications using drag‑and‑drop editing. During solvent evaporation VACUU·SELECT continuously detects the boiling point and adapts the vacuum profile automatically.

The VARIO control adjusts motor speed to maintain the desired vacuum only as fast as necessary, preventing bumping and foaming, reducing noise and extending maintenance intervals. A glass inlet separator with protective coating prevents particles and liquid droplets from entering the pump. The exhaust vapor condenser enables nearly complete solvent recovery when used with a chilled water line or recirculating chiller.
