The virotype IHNV/VHSV RT-PCR Kit is designed for the simultaneous detection and differentiation of RNA from Infectious Hematopoietic Necrosis Virus (IHNV) and Viral Hemorrhagic Septicemia Virus (VHSV). These are two of the most serious pathogens affecting salmonid populations, causing high mortality and significant economic impacts in the fish industry. This kit enables rapid, reliable, and simultaneous detection of both viruses, reducing the number of tests and hands-on time, and providing confidence in results compared to lab-developed tests.
