Product OverviewThe flocktype IBDV Ab is designed for the detection of antibodies to Infectious Bursal Disease Virus (IBDV) in serum and plasma samples from chickens. Infectious Bursal Disease (Gumboro disease) is characterized by immunosuppression, especially in young chickens, making it economically significant for the poultry industry. Vaccination of breeder flocks is an effective method of disease prevention. The flocktype IBDV Ab assay enables monitoring of humoral vaccination responses or IBDV infections.
