Product overviewThe Urea [13C] Breath Test Kit is a research-use diagnostic tool for detecting Helicobacter pylori infection by analyzing 13CO2 in exhaled breath after oral administration of 13C-labeled urea. The method is non-radioactive and designed for non-invasive sample collection.
Intended use- For detection of Helicobacter pylori infection in the stomach. Research use only; not for clinical diagnostic use.
Key features- Non-radioactive 13C-labeled urea reagent.

- Reliable detection with defined interpretation criteria (δ‰ values).
- Pack configurations: 1 serving/box; 20 servings/box.
Protocol (summary)- Collect 0-minute breath sample: subject fasting (or fasted ≥2 hours); exhale slowly into collection bag and seal — this is the 0-minute sample.
- Administer capsule: subject swallows one 13C urea capsule with 80–100 mL cool drinking water and remains seated.
- Collect 30-minute breath sample: 30 minutes after administration, exhale slowly into collection bag and seal — this is the 30-minute sample.
- Testing: measure 13CO2 in 0-minute and 30-minute samples using appropriate instrumentation. Results reported as δ‰; δ‰ ≥4.0 indicates H. pylori positive.
