Description: These magnetic beads are engineered for efficient one-step purification of Strep-tag II–tagged recombinant proteins. Strep-tag II is an eight-amino-acid peptide (Trp-Ser-His-Pro-Gln-Phe-Glu-Lys) that minimally affects fusion protein structure and activity, enabling purification under native conditions without tag removal. Elution with the biotin analogue desthiobiotin yields target proteins with >99% purity under mild conditions.
