Description

Overview
The HP 4000 Tower Nitrogen Generator produces nitrogen using filtration and PSA (pressure swing adsorption) technology. Compressed air is filtered by high-efficiency coalescing filters to 5 µm, then passed through two columns of proprietary blended carbon molecular sieve (CMS) that adsorbs O2, CO2 and moisture; these are desorbed during the PSA cycle to deliver a continuous supply of nitrogen. The unit provides a guaranteed flow of 4000 mL/min at 99% purity with outlet pressure up to 5 barg (75 psig).
