Description

Overview
The HP Zero 2000 HC Tower nitrogen generator produces nitrogen using filtration and pressure swing adsorption (PSA) with a proprietary carbon molecular sieve (CMS). Compressed air is filtered by high-efficiency coalescing filters to remove contaminants down to 5 µm. For ultra-sensitive applications such as GC carrier and make-up gas, an optional heated catalyst reduces hydrocarbons to <0.1 ppm. Two CMS columns adsorb O2, CO2 and moisture; desorption during the PSA cycle provides a continuous supply of ultra-pure nitrogen. Guaranteed flow: 2000 mL/min.
