Product Description
Total beta human chorionic gonadotropintropin (hCG) is a kind of 237 amino acid glycoprotein secreted by the trophoblast cells from the placenta, which is composed of α and β dimers glycoproteins. Its main function is to stimulate the corpus luteum, which is conducive for the sustained secretion of estrogen and progesterone, to promote the formation of deciduas and make placental grow to maturity. After fertilization, hCG is secreted into the maternal blood and will make rapid proliferation in the first eight weeks of pregnancy. After that, it will decline slowly until the first 18 to 20 weeks, and then remained stable.
