Immunoassay Test Kit ESTRADIOL E2 for Automatic Immunoassay Analyzer In Fertility/Hormone.
The kit has been designed for the quantitative determination of Estradiol (E2) in human serum. The method can be used for samples over the range of 8-3000 pg/mL.
Product Description
Estradiol (E2) is an important indicator to judge hormone disorders, and mainly used to diagnose adolescence endocrine disorders (precocious puberty, stunted growth, etc.), amenorrhea, or to evaluate ovarian function of menstrual abnormalities and so on.
Estradiol (E2) is a kind of steroid hormone containing 18 carbon atoms, with a molecular weight of 272.4 Daltons. It is the most effective natural estrogen produced mainly by placenta and Graffian follicle in female ovaries, and a small amount is produced by adrenal gland and testis. After Estradiol is secreted into the blood circulation, 98% binds with of the sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG), while a small amount binds with other serum proteins (such as albumin). Only a small part in free form or combined form enters into the blood circulation. The physiological function of estradiol is primarily to bind with estrogen receptors, form complex, trigger and achieve some appropriate responses in the target. These targets include the follicles, uterus, breast, vagina, urethra, hypothalamus, pituitary, and in the liver and skin in a small amount.
