How does it work?
Pediatric wrist and thumb brace FIX-KG-06 is manufactured using MEMORYFixCast™ (thermoplastic panel) and ActivePren™ (three-layer neoprene-based material). The design delivers controlled immobilization with low weight and is appropriate for orthopedic and neurological indications in children.

Design and application
Wrap-around design ensures circumferential compression and simple fit adjustment. The thermoplastic panel extends over the CMC and MCP joints to the IP joint of the thumb, controlling unwanted motion. Three circumference Velcro straps enable rapid application and removal. The thermoplastic panel softens at approximately 60°C and can be heat-molded multiple times according to clinical guidance. The thermoplastic is described as biodegradable.
