Why upright posture is important
Upright positioning in children improves respiration, circulation, sensory and digestive function and reduces risks associated with prolonged lying (pressure sores, pneumonia, bone demineralization). Weight‑bearing and foot contact stimulate bone growth and support motor and social development during rehabilitation.

What is the Kids Knee Immobilizer AM‑TUD‑KD‑02?
The AM‑TUD‑KD‑02 maintains the knee in extension using three anatomically contoured aluminium splints. The kneepad with cross straps controls patellar movement and enhances stabilization in upright position. The posterior panel is made of ActiveDistance III™ for firm support and skin comfort.

ActiveDistance III™
ActiveDistance III™ is a three‑layer, non‑elastic fabric combining a self‑gripping polyamide layer, comfort foam and a soft outer fabric. Its non‑elastic construction delivers firm stabilization, the foam adds comfort for prolonged wear and the outer layer helps keep the skin dry.

Design and adjustment
Four wraparound straps allow circumferential compression adjustment; cross straps support the kneepad and aid vertical stabilization. The product fits both left and right leg. Three anatomical aluminium stays keep the knee extended, assisting gait training and muscle strengthening during rehabilitation.
