Short description
Pediatric upper-extremity brace FIX-KG-18 immobilizes the wrist and adjacent joints to support treatment of dislocations and related injuries. Made from breathable AeroSpace II™ fabric and fitted with a low-profile, shapeable aluminum splint covered to reduce pressure, the device extends from the metacarpals to the forearm, stabilizes the wrist in a neutral position while allowing free finger motion. Supplied with three Velcro straps for quick application and adjustment. Suitable for daily immobilization and as an alternative to a traditional cast.

Material description
AeroSpace II™ is a distance-elastic 3D knitted fabric composed of two facing layers with an interlacing that provides appropriate thickness and pressure relief. The knit uses polyester yarn for mechanical strength and spandex for elasticity. AeroSpace II™ features an external self-gripping layer for easy adjustment, very low weight, high flexibility, an open structure for sweat drainage and air circulation, consistent compression and fit, and a 3D structure that supports orthopaedic splints while remaining soft to the touch.
