What does Panner’s disease mean?
Panner’s disease is a rare growth‑plate condition affecting active children (typically up to ~11 years), more common in boys. It is associated with repetitive stress to the elbow from throwing sports, gymnastics and similar activities. The condition can disturb normal bone development in the elbow growth plate, causing pain, stiffness and possible swelling of the joint.

What is the paediatric sleeve sling AM‑SOB‑07?
The AM‑SOB‑07 is a sleeve‑type forearm sling that maintains arm and forearm support to relieve pain and promote healing after shoulder or elbow trauma. The device is made from CottonMix™ (Oeko‑Tex Standard 100), a slightly elastic cotton blend available in different weights. Materials are selected for skin neutrality and breathability.

Design and comfort
The elastic sleeve provides compression and immobilization of the upper limb. Adjustable components adapt to small patients: an arm strap secures the arm to the trunk to prevent involuntary abduction; an adjustable forearm strap with a padded shoulder piece reduces irritation. A wrist foam cushion and a thumb hole help maintain proper wrist position and enhance comfort. The anatomic shape ensures effective immobilization; an optional trunk belt can keep the arm adducted and internally rotated.
