Shoulder injuries
Shoulder injuries in children differ from adults due to open growth plates and higher tissue elasticity. The pediatric skeleton is still maturing, making the joint more prone to specific injuries. Conservative treatment with immobilization and physiotherapy is often preferred to surgery.

Product’s description
The FIX-KG-21 pediatric shoulder brace secures the upper limb in a therapeutic position and provides three selectable internal rotation settings (15°, 25°, ~45°). Two removable rotational cushions enable smooth restriction of rotation while the arm sling and anatomic hand strap maintain correct limb alignment.

Composition / Main elements

• Waist strap for stabilization and comfort; arm strap prevents involuntary abduction
• Two rotational cushions for 15° and 25°; removing cushions allows approximately 45° rotation (similar to an arm sling)
• Arm sling with anatomical hand strap and soft neck pad; thumb loop prevents limb slippage; quick-release buckle for easy application

• ActiveDistance™: 3-layer off-loading lamination (EVA foam double-sided laminated with non-elastic polyamide); self-gripping, non-elastic, waterproof
• SoftComfort™: soft foam with perforated knit lining; breathable; Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and REACH compliant
• VelvetCotton™: skin-friendly cotton knit for delicate skin; breathable and washable

Additional product information
The sling maintains the humeral head within the glenoid fossa, reduces pain and supports healing. The design fits both left and right sides and is suitable for pediatric anatomy. Adjustable straps and padding reduce skin pressure points.
