What is a wrist sprain?
Wrist sprain involves stretched or torn ligaments that connect one bone to another. It commonly occurs in active children after a fall onto an outstretched hand, a twist, or a direct impact. Symptoms include pain, a possible popping sensation and limited motion. Initial treatment typically includes immobilization and off-loading of the joint using a pediatric wrist brace such as EB-N.

Product description
The EB-N provides targeted stabilization and compression of the pediatric wrist to protect soft tissues and aid recovery. The brace is manufactured using ProFit™ material.

ProFit™ material
ProFit™ is a double-layer elastic fabric with multidirectional stretch that conforms closely to the limb. The external layer is spandex for compression and shock absorption; the internal layer combines microfiber, cotton and elastane for skin comfort and breathability. ProFit™ is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified.

AirSanmed™ side material
The lateral panels use AirSanmed™: a perforated medical laminate with Silver Zeolite antibacterial properties. It keeps the skin dry and adds side stabilization. Semi-rigid perforated EVA foam protects the skin from metal splints. AirSanmed™ is non-elastic and the cotton terry contacting the skin is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified.

Design and adjustment
The EB-N features a wrap design and a wide circumferential strap in loop fabric (Velcro) for full adjustment and required compression. ProFit™ conforms like a second skin, maintaining compression and temperature to support healing.
