Product’s description
The orthosis consists of two main parts — hip and thigh — covered with Active3D™ thermoformed, closed-cell fabric that reduces pressure and abrasion from splints and stays. Active3D™ is waterproof, does not absorb sweat, is easy to clean and features self-gripping layers for improved fit.

The hip component is semi-rigid anatomical ABS, thermoformable and trimmable to size. The semi-rigid thigh component includes height adjustment and simple fitting; thigh closures use durable rivet buckles. Both components are low-profile ABS with Active3D™ padding to limit pressure, improve ventilation and reduce skin lesion risk.

Both parts are connected by the anatomical JOINT FLEX CONTROL splint. The JOINT FLEX CONTROL hinge is a low-profile aluminum unit offering smooth flexion/extension adjustment and controls abduction/adduction in the 0–25° range. A drop lock adjusted with a hex key provides ROM lock positions at 0, 20, 45, 70, 90, 110 and 125 degrees; adjustment requires the hex key to prevent involuntary changes. The abduction/adduction hinge is ABS reinforced with carbon fibre.

• Size 2 — Waist circumference (A): 45–75 cm; Thigh circumference (B): 30–50 cm; Distance knee joint to groin (C): 25–35 cm; Typical age: 5–12 years

Fits for both legs.
Total length: size 1 — min 36 cm / max 40 cm; size 2 — min 45 cm / max 50 cm.
