Product overview
FIX-KG-04 maintains the thumb in abduction and opposition while providing targeted compression to the thumb and wrist joints. Designed for pediatric use, the wrap is made of thin, colorful ActivePren™ to deliver constant compression and thermal support to the CMC and MCP joints. The wrap-around construction allows circumference adjustment and dynamic immobilization of the thumb in abduction and opposition while leaving the CMC joint mobile enough to preserve functional grip.

How does it work?
FIX-KG-04 is constructed from ActivePren™, a three-layer active material composed of two elastic jersey cover fabrics and a neoprene foam core. ActivePren™ is soft, flexible and avoids thick fibers that can abrade skin. The wrap-around design permits circumference adjustment and dynamic positioning of the thumb in abduction and opposition; the CMC joint is not fully immobilized to maintain hand function. The material provides compression and warmth to support pain reduction and healing.

Wrist material
The wrist component uses AeroSpace II™, a distance-elastic 3D knitted fabric with two facing layers and an interlacing structure that gives appropriate thickness and pressure relief. Made from polyester yarn and spandex, it is lightweight, flexible and breathable, with an external self-gripping layer for easy adjustment and a structure that relieves splints while remaining soft to the touch.
