BOXER’S FRACTURE
A boxer’s fracture commonly involves a fracture of the neck of the fifth metacarpal and may present with pain, swelling, reduced mobility and localized deformity. Immobilization of the ring and little fingers with stabilization of the ulnar side of the hand is required to prevent fragment displacement. The AM-D-08 moldable hand brace maintains a functional finger position and restricts movements that could aggravate the injury.

Product description:
The AM-D-08 is designed to immobilize the fourth and fifth fingers together with the ulnar aspect of the hand. It is indicated for conservative treatment and rehabilitation of fractures, sprains and overload syndromes affecting the metacarpals and finger joints. The brace incorporates an anatomically contoured, moldable aluminium splint that can be shaped to the patient’s anatomy to maintain the prescribed finger alignment. The orthosis is constructed from a soft, breathable stabilizing material to ensure comfort during prolonged wear. Adjustable hook-and-loop straps enable precise fitting and stable positioning. Its open design facilitates skin ventilation and reduces irritation.
