Short description
Wrist orthosis AM-OSN-L-02 by 4medic is a hand and forearm brace designed to stabilize the carpal joint, wrist, metacarpophalangeal joints and selected fingers. Constructed with AirSanmed II™ textile and adjustable VELCRO fastening, it provides anatomical support, thumb abduction and finger separation. Indicated for post-operative care, tendon injuries, dislocations, bursitis and neurological paresis.

3 points stabilization
LOCK 3 POINTS (L3P) stabilization system provides three-point support to the secured area for controlled immobilization.

Materials & technology

• ActiveDistance™ — three-layer off-loading lamination (EVA foam laminated with non-elastic polyamide); self-gripping, non-elastic, waterproof comfort foam for stabilization.
• AirSanmed II™ — multi-layer orthopedic textile with washable external vapor barrier, perforated off-loading foam and breathable cotton laminate (pH neutral, Oeko-Tex Standard 100).
• SoftComfort™ — soft comfort foam with perforated cover knit for contact with sensitive skin; used for lining and pressure relief.

Stiffenings and splints

• Anatomically shaped hand splint (wrist splint).
• Plastic stays in various widths/thicknesses (polyamide, ABS or acrylic); water-resistant; memory function for stabilization after edema reduction.
• Dedicated thumb splint for thumb stabilization.

Paddings
3D relief supports made of supporting foams or EVA foam bonded with skin-friendly covers to reduce pressure from rigid orthosis elements and improve comfort.
