OverviewWrist joint has a large range of motion (flexion, extension, radial and ulnar deviation; pronation and supination in radioulnar joints). Fall onto an outstretched hand (FOOSH) is a common mechanism for wrist injuries where distal radial and scaphoid fractures are frequent. Stable scaphoid fracture requires immobilization for approximately 8 weeks. The wrist brace AM-OSN-U-01/CCA with CCA system is intended for these cases and for active users and athletes at risk of falls.
Product descriptionThe wrist brace combines durable, breathable textiles with eco-leather covering. The construction uses a single-piece wrist element to minimize seams and improve comfort. An anatomically shaped palm splint is made of high-quality aluminum and covered with nylon and eco-leather. Two dorsal orthopedic splints, also covered with nylon and eco-leather, provide dorsal support. The brace integrates the BOA® Fit System — polyamide grommets, steel wires coated in plastic and a dial knob — enabling micro-adjustable compression and secure fitting. Adjust by turning the dial clockwise to tighten and counter-clockwise to release.
