Description
Wrap-around wrist support designed to follow anatomical contours and stabilize the wrist and radiocarpal joint. Made from AirSanmed II™, the orthosis provides adjustable stabilization for various wrist anatomies. A Soft Elastic Pad in the distal palmar area enhances comfort. Three Velcro straps with plastic end covers secure the fit and aid users with limited dexterity. The product includes an anatomically shaped, malleable and removable metal palm strip with a sweat-resistant coating.

Materials
AirSanmed II™ is a multi-layer intelligent orthopedic textile developed for brace production. The external vapor barrier is washable and can be chemically or vapor disinfected. The fabric is perforated and laminated with off-loading foam to reduce pressure from metal stays and splints; this foam is bonded to soft comfort foam and laminated with breathable cotton (pH neutral, Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified).

Allowable disinfectants (surface-active agents and maximum content)

• 2-propane — 35%
• 1-propane — 25%
• Ethanol — 10%
• Alkyl Dimethyl Benzyl Ammonium Chloride — 0.2%
• Glucoprotamine — 25%

Spray the device surface with disinfectant, allow activation time, then wash and dry.

Technology / Systems
The CTSyndrome system: a dedicated pad on the wrist splint that protects the carpal canal from excessive compression, reducing carpal canal pressure and supporting free transmission of impulses in the median nerve to lower the risk of aggravating entrapment neuropathy.
